Shaun Cooper’s debut for Torquay since joining us remains on hold as he continues to attempt to recover from an injury he picked up in training.

He joined us in January and carries a lot of experience following spells with Bournemouth and Portsmouth and whilst he could fulfil an option in either defence or midfield, he remains a few weeks away from first team action having suffered a setback on his road to recovery.

‘The latest with Shaun is he’s had a setback with the ankle injury and he’s probably two or three weeks away, which is very disappointing. He’s had two bits of very bad luck.’

Hargreaves goes on to explain that he turned his ankle on the astro turf pitch and that started all of this and has led to his month plus out so far.

Billy Bodin is also set to miss the game this weekend following his knee injury.
