Manager Chris Hargreaves has said that the team have a responsibility to the league, the club and the fans, to go out and give their all this weekend when we face Wycombe Wanderers despite knowing the game can not change our relegation fate.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, Hargreaves warned that Wycombe would certainly be up for the game as they still have their own relegation worries to consider, and although he admits he may introduce some youthful faces to our line up or more likely the bench, our plan will be to go out and play well and play for the win.

‘They are in the same situation as we were last week and I don’t want to be pleased about sending any club down because I know the ramifications reverberate around everybody. It’s not very nice but I also know we’re not the worst club in the league. We’ve played better than lots of teams we’ve faced, home and away, but that doesn’t guarantee you points. We just want to win tomorrow, win our last three games, four out of the last five and a good way to end our season.’

Hargreaves confirms there will definitely be some younger faces on the bench for the game, but he will be starting with a strong squad in search of the victory as he’s not going to make wholescale changes.
