Alan Knill has said that he feels Ashley Yeoman will have a big season this time round as he impressed him last season.

Yeoman was selected regularly towards the end of last season and his finishing ability is something Knill wants to tap into as the youngster continues his progression, but he believes the player needs to believe in himself more and show more courage so he can have the impact his natural talent should enable.

Speaking to the Official Site Knill said.

‘Ashley came to the fore last season and did really well. We’re now looking for him to kic on, he’s incredible talented and it took me a while to see it because he’s so quiet. We’re now just trying to get a personality to him because is technical play is really good.’

Knill says that they have had plenty of conversations pointing out that if you’re not a vocal player you have to stand out in performances and it’s just a matter of confidence and bringing him out of his shell so he can reach his true potential.
