Alan Knill has said he was pleased with Torquay’s positive approach in the game against Hartlepool today.

Speaking to the press following the goalless draw, the manager said there were plenty of positives for him to take from the game.

‘We created more chances in the game than any other so far and have to take the positives from it because it’s our first clean sheet of the season. There are way more positives to take from that performance than negatives and I can see we are getting better.’

Knill adds that with such a new team he’d have gladly taken one loss in our first five games if it had been offered before the season started.
