Manchester United Midfielder Added

Sunday was a busy day for folks down at Plainmoor, following on from the announcement that Damien Mozika had been released, news also broke that ahead of the 11pm cut off point for the January transfer window deadline day, manager Chris Hargreaves had negotiated us the services of Manchester United midfielder Jack Rudge.

The 19 year old joins us on what is initially a one month loan deal but he also comes in with a growing reputation as a determined leader in the midfield engine room, and has held down a regular starting place in the Academy system at Old Trafford.

The deal did obviously go through before the closure on deadline day, but he wasn’t eligible for our game at the weekend, and did join the rest of the team for training today, so is therefore in contention for our next match.
