Eunan O’Kane is a player that could well be leaving Torquay this summer but it isn’t going to be to Rotherham, who were believed to be interested in the winger.

Rotherham manager Steve Evans has ‘ruled out’ a move for the Northern Ireland U21 international but has praised his quality with him believing that his future lies above league two with him likely to leave Plainmoor this summer: ‘he is a talented young man and there is more than Rotherham United looking at him. But we are going in a different direction.

‘He will probably move on this summer, to higher than League Two, which is what his ability deserves. He is not a player we have bid for.’

I never like it when a manager talks about another players player but does Evans have a point?

Do you think that O’Kane will be moving on this summer to a higher level, league one or championship perhaps?
