With the whole team being applauded for their performance against Barnet, Alan Knill had special praise for skipper Lee Mansell.

Speaking to the Official Site Knill said.

‘Mansell was outstanding and all the way up to Saturday’s postponed game it was touch and go whether or not he would play because of a knee injury. He is everything that epitomises the team, he played with energy, aggression and he’s got quality. I’m a big fan and he drives the team and leads by example.’

Now Knill is hoping for a repeat in the Morecambe game as another three points would be a vital boost ahead of the final game of the season.
