Thompson Extends Loan Deal

Winger Niall Thompson has extended his loan spell at Worcester City.

The 20 year old player moved to them for some first team football a good few weeks ago, and he has gone on to make five appearances for the club in that time.

He also scored on his debut for the Skrill Conference North side in their FA Cup match that set them up for a tie against Lincoln City. Worcester drew that game so will face a replay at Sincil Bank where the winners will meet Plymouth Argyle in the first round proper.

The new agreement between the two clubs, will see the winger remain with them until December 28th so he should get plenty of additional first team action over the next two months.

Niall has figured three times for Torquay so far this season, and since signing for the club last summer he has made three starts with a further 21 appearances from the bench.
