Tuesday night’s pre season friendly against relegated former Championship side Yeovil Town ended in an entertaining two all draw.

Yeovil returning to League One life after their promotion and relegation to and from the Championship in recent seasons, took the lead twice in the game, before Torquay admirably battled back on each occasion to the level the scores and whilst the first half was relatively matched with neither side making a telling break through, the game certainly came to life in the second period where all four goals were scored.

Yeovil took the lead through a Leitch-Smith penalty after 54 minutes, only to see Courtney Cameron grab a goal four minutes later, and then Chergui gave them the lead again with only 12 minutes remaining, meaning Elliot Benyon went one better and drew us level again with only three minutes remaining in the game.
