League two champions Swindon have offered Billy Bodin a new contract, although he isn’t expected to sign this.

All the signs are pointing towards the 20-year-old rejecting the offer as he goes in search of regular first-team football, something that the striker is unlikely to get as much as he would like with Swindon next season.

The Welsh U21 international spent a spell on loan with Torquay last season and Martin Ling is likely to be interested in signing him if the compensation fee isn’t too high.

With Ling knowing Bodin since he was a child, due to his close friendship with his father, there’s a good chance The Gulls could be successful in the efforts to sign him, but would you want him at Plainmoor permanently?
