An arrival, some extensions and a notable departure sandwiched the transfer window on Monday.

In no particular order.

Stiker Elliot Benyon has extended his loan sell away from the club with Hayes and Yeading until early April. The 28 year old moved to the Conference South side at the beginning of January and scored his first goal for them in the recent victory over Wealdstone.

Youngster Mickey Parcell has extended his loan spell out with Bideford AFC, and he will now remain with them until the end of the season. By all accounts he’s said to have been impressive during his time with them so far, so it’s been a good experience for the first year pro.

Durrell Berry has also moved on and signed for Cheltenham Town. With Chris Hargreaves making no secret of the fact he’d love to have kept him, but been unable to offer him a full contract, with only non contract terms agreed, he was free to move on.

We did however bring in defender Aaron Dawson, and he too has signed non contract terms with us.

The 22 year old right back was formerly with Exeter City, but following his mutual contract termination he had been training with us over the last week, prior to the deal being done and he of course made his debut in our draw against Wrexham.

We also brought in French defender Ollivier Gueguen on non contract terms.

The 24 year old centre back was on trial at the club and had impressed, prompting Hargreaves into doing a deal. He was an unused substitute against Wrexham.

In other news, our League fixture at home to Braintree Town has been rearranged for Tuesday March 17.
