Plymouths third game in three days and Torquay’s first against league competition. It will be a good game I’m sure with open football. Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has said he will look to rotate his squad during the preseason and it is probably going to be a very young side which plays at Plainmoor.
Probably no Guy Branston yet but Jamie Hatch and Ben Joyce will most likely start. There will be a very different feel from the Buckland match with more competition for places.
After signing for Torquay at the weekend he will be looking to continue the form which led to two second half goals at Buckland.
Expected to play alot of youth players following Sturrock’s hint at more ties between the two clubs and an increase in loaning of players. This match is a good opportunity for Plymouth to show off their young talent.
Although this is Plymouth’s third game in as many days it is their first pre-season game against league opposition and should Fallon be on form, Torquay will have to be very sure at the back.
I’m going to go for a 3-2 win for the Gulls. It will be a good game with lots of shots on goal.
