Burton kept up the good unbeaten run of late with a draw secured at Torquay on Saturday afternoon thanks to a last minute equaliser.

Rene Howe (18) did what all good strikers do early on, he followed up and effort that had come back off the post to put Torquay ahead. This lead was taken into the half time break.

Having been denied by the post and the bar, as well as a fine double save from Gulls keeper Michael Poke, Burton might have thought it wasn’t going to be their day!

Torquay looked set for a one-nil win before Calvin Zola (89), one of those denied by the frame of the goal already, final managed to break through for The Brewers in the last minute. Like Howe had for the hosts Zola followed up when an effort came back off the post to see the game end in a 1-1 draw.
