Mad, crazy, barmy and loopy are just a few words to describe the previous editor of this site after some of the most ludicrous stories about our football club. From Garth Crooks and Uriah Rennie taking over the club to our very own Hells Bells and Tim Lovejoy interested in heading a consortium, the stories were misleading, dishonest and well, simply laughable beyond belief.
But that’s all about to change. Those first few words could now be used to describe me after agreeing to takeover this site in a situation where our club looks to be heading into the non-league world – a planet which we have never been on since entering the Football League 80 years ago.
But I love Torquay United Football Club. I will always support my team and will always bleed yellow blood. For those reasons I will be running this site and aim to give you the fans, the best site out there which will include news, reviews, previews, reports, features and just about everything else.
So join in, start a debate, air your views, join in the threads, have a vent and just talk football and Torquay United.
