Torquay United have confirmed that goalkeeping coach Kenny Veysey has now returned to Plainmoor after the board decided to end his period of gardening leave.

Following the takeover by the new consortium, agreement couldn’t be struck with our existing managerial staff under the charge of Chris Hargreaves, and all were placed on gardening leave whilst the board made their own preparations for the coming 2015-16 season that saw Paul Cox come in.

After recently appointing John Ramshaw to the position of assistant manager, Veysey now comes back in following the end of his specific gardening leave period to coach the keepers once more.

Chairman David Phillips explained.

‘We are delighted to reach an agreement for Kenny to return to the club, and we are looking forward to working with him for the important season ahead.’
