Manager Chris Hargreaves has managed to extend the loan deal of Josh Wakefield for a further two weeks, and youngster Jake Hutchings has left on a loan spell of his own.

Following discussions with Wakefield’s parent club, Bournemouth, the midfielder will now remain with us until November 5, the day before he turns 21 years old.

That would be the natural cut off point for a youth loan, and discussions have already been held about a potential further extension beyond this point but that will be revisited.

Wakefield has also been given permission by Bournemouth to play in the FA Cup against Aldershot this weekend.

In outgoing news, defender Jake Hutchings has moved to Frome Town on a one month loan deal to enable him to get valuable first team experience under his belt.
