Alan Knill has said following the Swindon defeat that Torquay are a work in progress, but he believes we are learning and improving with each game.

Speaking to the Official Site following the match, the gaffer explained.

‘We grew into the game and we knew we were playing a passing team, so the plan was to press them high up the pitch. It took about 20 minutes for everybody to get a grip and do it together, but we we did, it was an even game. As the first half went on, we were the more likely side to score. We were delighted at half time and we needed the same in the second half.’

Knill adds it was a poor goal to concede but ultimately Swindon started the restart following Benyon’s injury far brighter than we did.
