Robbie Herrera returns to Plainmoor today as player manager Kevin Nicholson’s new assistant manager.
The Torquay born and breed 45 year old played over 130 games for the club before becoming a key additional to our youth development set up in recent years.
Coming in with knowledge of the area, the club and with 30 years experience in the game, hopefully along with Nicholson, he’ll help us turn the tide this year.
He begins his new role officially on Monday following his departure as technical development coach only a few months ago as we had to cut costs.
In the months since he has been working for Plymouth Argyle’s Academy as U16 coach.
