Torquay United will welcome fellow League Two side Rochdale to Plainmoor in the first round of the FA Cup for 2013-14.
The first round draw took place earlier today, and having almost matched Rochdale in our earlier league encounter that we narrowly lost one nil, the players will be hopeful for progression and a bit of revenge no doubt.
The game will take place on home soil on the weekend of November 9, and could be played on either the Saturday or Sunday, with kick off most likely to be at 3pm.
Once the date and time are confirmed, ticket details will no doubt follow shortly.
The last time Rochdale came to our ground, we ran out as four two winners.
Knill certainly won’t want to see us crash out at the first stage of the competition again like we did last season, but time will tell whether we look at this as a distraction and give some players a run out, or take it seriously for confidence and win purposes.
