Chairman Taken To Hospital

Torquay United chairman Mike Bateson was admitted to hospital over the weekend.

Following Torquay’s 3-0 win at home to Wycombe on Saturday in Bateson’s first game back as chairman, the Torquay chief was taken ill.

The official website say that he is currently undergoing tests to establish the cause of his illness.
