As a Torquay United fan, I would just like to pass my congratulations onto our dear neighbours Plymouth Argyle after their FA Cup exit to Watford.
We may be rivals but I was cheering for the Green Army on Sunday.
It’s nice to see a team from this neck of the woods do well in the competition.
Not long ago we were playing Argyle in Division Three (now League Two). Now whilst our football league status hangs by a thread, our neighbours are enjoying life in the Championship and FA Cup quarter-finals.
Unfortunately, Watford scraped a 1-0 win at Home Park as Ian Holloway’s men crashed out of the cup.
But credit to Plymouth for the way they played. They were unlucky not to force a replay and have given a great account of themselves.
All the best for the rest of he season. Maybe one day our paths will meet again!
Well done Argyle. You did Devon proud.

Thanks Torquay fans 🙂 I for one am not happy with the prospect of having two devon conference teams next season. The quicker you come up the better for Devon
thanks for that, although i was hoping you’d go down! 😛
I hope you come back up after the first attempt. We need as many West Country teams as Possible in the League. Even Exeter.
