Gulls Destroy Wycombe

Torquay United Head Coach Keith Curle celebrated his first victory in charge of the Gulls following a thumping victory over Wycombe Wanderers.

Midfielder Lloyd Kerry, on loan from Sheffield United, scored a sensational opener with a dipping 25 yard volley after 19 minutes.


Debut boys Marvin Williams and Chris Robertson both added goals to the scoresheet as United ended a disaterous run which had seen them score once in five games and no win in seven.

It finished 3-0 but in all honesty it could have been more with both Williams and Lee Thorpe missing chances as well as Kerry hitting the woodwork. However it could have been a different story had Wycombe taken an early chances.

But they didn’t as the Gulls made them pay with a stunning performance.
